This week’s blog is all about looking ahead and new starts. A new academic year is an exciting time for a school as we welcome pupils back, all of whom have got a little bit older and possibly a little bit taller! It is always lovely to see the pupils again, and to learn about their stories and adventures from the holidays. It is also a lovely time because we welcome 210 new Year 7 pupils into the St Cyres community.  Whilst they may initially feel nervous about settling into such a big school, I have no doubt that they will feel at home very quickly.

So finally, whether it is a first welcome to St Cyres School, or a welcome back, we look forward to the exciting challenges of the 2022-23 academic year and I have no doubt that we will ‘strive together’ to make it a year to remember.
